The La Salle Nursery School is situated in the La Salle School in La Salle, Manitoba. LSNS is happy to continue offering a 3-Year Old Morning Program (2 mornings a week) and a 4-Year Old Morning Program (3 mornings a week).
We are excited to offer a NEW 4 & 5 Year Old mixed afternoon program. The 4-Year old's attend this program Monday-Friday afternoons. The 5-Year Old's attend on afternoons alternate to their Kindergarten schedule.
Each program is carefully planned out by the teachers and the board and is regulated by the Government of Manitoba Community Child Care Standards Act.

3-Year Old Nursery School Program
The 3-Year Old Nursery School Program is run on Mondays and Wednesdays 9:00 am - 11:30 am. Drop-off begins at 8:30am.
Each day consists of free play, circle time, snack, crafts, teacher directed activities, stories, group play + individual play, as well as, calendar time. Outdoor time is also important and the children are taken outdoors to play on days when time and weather allows, please send children with appropriate clothing.
The 3-Year Old Program is focused on social interactions and gaining independence.
4-Year Old Nursery School Program
The 4-Year Old Nursery School Program is run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 9:00 am - 11:30 am. Drop-off begins at 8:30am.
Each day consists of free play, circle time, snack, crafts, teacher directed activities, stories, group play + individual play, as well as, calendar time. Outdoor time is also important and the children are taken outdoors to play on days when time and weather allows, please send children with appropriate clothing.
The 4-Year Old Program spends time preparing children for the transition to Kindergarten and works with the La Salle School to make this transition as easy as possible for students.
4 & 5-Year Old Afternoon Nursery School Program
The 4 & 5-Year Old Afternoon program runs from 12:30pm - 3:30pm
4-Year olds will attend the program Monday-Friday afternoons
Kindergarten Students attend on their non-kindergarten days 2-3 times per week following the La Salle School 6-day cycle and SRSD calendar.

Even-day Kindergarten students attend on ODD days
Each afternoon consists of circle & calendar time, free play, snack time, structured and child led activities in art, STEM and literacy, and outdoor play. This mixed-aged program fosters confidence, empathy, independence while building a strong sense of community.
