La Salle Nursery School is a relaxed atmosphere, where the children participate in a program that is geared toward Kindergarten readiness by promoting freedom of choice, independence, responsibility, and respect for themselves and others.

Our play-based program supports the children’s development by creating an environment & experiences for the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth of each child. A session at La Salle Nursery School consists of 50% child-directed activities along with 50% teacher-led activities such as guided crafts, snack time, circle time, and outside playtime.

During Circle time, we focus on the calendar learning about the months, days of the week, year, and different patterns for every number of each day. We discuss the weather, seasons, songs, a star helper, and a short story.

 In our 4-year-old program, we let the children take the “Star helper bag” which not only gives them self-confidence but also allows the children to have a learning experience through sharing & discussing their items. Our program also implements physical activity we spend time playing outside at the end of each session. At our Nursery School we are forever growing 

& learning together!
